Thursday December 9th
Independent Arrivals at the Mayflower Hotel, conveniently located on Central Park West at 61st Street. The Mayflower features spacious rooms directly on the park, and is just two blocks from Lincoln Center. Enjoy our Wine and Cheese Reception prior to this evening's performance.

We start our weekend with one of Wagner's most richly melodic works, Tannhauser. Peter Seiffert makes his Met debut in the title role, along side Deborah Voigt, Elizabeth Bishop, Thomas Hampson, and Kurt Moll. Mark Elder conducts.Friday December 10th
Morning at leisure. Enjoy shopping on Fifth Avenue, or search for holiday bargains throughout the city.
This afternoon, our group will enjoy a private guided tour of the highly anticipated Aztec Exhibition at The Guggenheim Museum. Among the masterpieces being displayed during this unprecedented show are numerous works that have never been seen before in the United States.

On stage tonight - the season premiere of Offenbach's Les Contes d'Hoffmann. Ramon Vargas takes on the title role, with James Morris as the 'four villains', in one of the Met's most beloved productions. Laura Aiken, Hei-Kyung Hong, Beatrice Uria-Monzon, and Vesselina Kasarova are also featured. Frederic Chaslin conducts.

Saturday December 11th
Morning at leisure.

This afternoon, we present the option to see Verdi's rarely staged I Vespri Siciliani. Marcello Viotti conducts the Metropolitan Opera revival, featuring renowned Verdians Sondra Radvanovsky, Francisco Casanova, Leo Nucci, and Samuel Ramey.

This evening, we will enjoy a festive holiday dinner together at one of New York's finest restaurants (TBA).
Following dinner, we return to the Met for the new production of Handel's Rodelinda. Under the baton of Baroque specialist Harry Bicket, the Met has assembled a truly stellar cast, including Renee Fleming, Stephanie Blythe, David Daniels, Bejun Mehta, Kobie van Rensburg, and John Relya.

Sunday December 12th
