Wednesday, June 5th
Independent arrivals, and coach arrival from Ottawa, Canada, at the sparkling
four star Paramount Hotel. Located on 46th Street between Broadway and 8th
Avenue, the Paramount is ideally situated in the heart of the theatre district,
steps away from Times Square.
This evening, we are thrilled
to be attending the Tony Award winning, record setting musical comedy sensation,
The Producers. Based on Mel Brook's hilarious movie, The Producers features
outstanding performances from a star studed cast directed by the renowned
Susan Stroman. The Producers is undoubtedly one of the most witty, irreverent,
and enjoyable shows you will ever see!
Thursday, June 6th
This morning, we embark on an expert guided tour of the Theatre District.
On our tour, you will learn about the history and development of New York's
most famous neighborhood. We will also have the opportunity to visit two of
Broadway's signature theatres during the tour. Afternoon at leisure.
Tonight, we are again in for a treat of a different sort, as we attend the
new Broadway musical, Thoroughly Modern Millie. Produced by Whoopie Goldberg,
the jazz infused score is based on the 1967 cult classic film of the same
name.
Friday, June 7th
Morning at leisure.
This afternoon, we will explore another of New York's fascinating neighborhoods
- Greenwich Village. Journey through New York's unique and legendary home
to artists, writers and radicals, with a special emphasis on the history and
architecture of the area. This evening, we present the option to attend an
additional performance of your choice. Pro Musica will secure tickets for
your choice of Broadway, Off-Broadway or Lincoln Center performance (subject
to availability at time of registration). Of the many offerings available,
you might want to choose Lion King, Aida, Beauty and the Beast, Oklahoma,
Mamma Mia!, Noises Off, The Graduate, The Crucible, Sweet Smell of Success,
Cabaret… Please do not hesitate to speak to our staff for recommendations

Saturday, June 8th
Day at leisure.
This afternoon, you may wish to attend an additional performance matinee.Into
the Woods, one of Sondheim's best works, returns to Broadway in this fantastic
new production starring Vanessa Williams as The Witch. Into the Woods blends
a variety of well-known stories into a scrumptious adult fairy tale. Following
the performance, our group has been invited to the stage for a private meet
the artist session with featured members of the cast.
